How do I get to Trinity United Methodist Church? (Back To Top)
Trinity is located in downtown Blythewood. You can find us at the corner of Blythewood Road and Boney Road, close to Exit 27 off I-77. We are next door to Wendy’s Restaurant and across from IGA grocery store. Please click on the link below to view a map of the area.
Where will my children go? (Back To Top)
The Child Care Center is located behind the Sanctuary in the Christian Life Center. Our paid nursery staff is available prior to and during both services. Children between the ages of newborn and 3 are welcome in nursery. Parents are asked to sign-in their children and to label any personal items such as diaper bags and sippy cups.
Children are always welcome to attend worship and stay for the entire service. We have Children’s Moments during each service. Children ages 3 years to K5 are able to attend Children’s Church during the 11:00 service. Following Children’s Moments, a trained adult volunteer leads them from the service to the Child Care Center for a Bible lesson, snack and play time. Children are picked up at the Child Care Center following the service.
A cry room is available in the back of the sanctuary complete with rocking chairs and a changing table. The service can be heard over the intercom.
Is Trinity handicap accessible? (Back To Top)
All of the bathrooms on Trinity’s campus are handicap accessible. Handicap parking is available outside every entrance. There are large print hymnals on the tables in the entrance lobbies and hearing devices are available from the sound technicians near the sound system at the back of the sanctuary.
How should I dress? (Back To Top)
Come as you are. We are not concerned with how you dress. We want you to feel at home. In general, people dress casually for the 8:45 contemporary service. Some wear casual pants or even blue jeans. At 11:00 traditional service the congregation tends to dress more formally, in skirts or dress pants, even suits.
Will I be able to follow along? (Back To Top)
A bulletin is provided to you on your way in each morning. The basic order of worship is usually the same except for when there is a special sacrament such as Communion or Baptism.
