Promotion Sunday is August 17. All children 3 years through 5th grade are invited to share breakfast in the Fellowship Hall on August 17 at 10 AM. We are celebrating the start of a new school year and their promotion to a new Sunday School class. Bibles will be presented to rising 3rd graders and worship books will be presented to rising 1st graders during the 11:00 worship service.
Join us for 3rd Sunday Dine-In August 17th. Please bring a covered dish and meet us in the CLC after 11:00 worship for fun and fellowship.
A Prayer and Praise Service will be held August 24 at 7:00pm in the sanctuary. This will be a time of prayer, praise, fellowship and special music by the Jewel Tones and Darren Rhodes, soloist. Sponsored by Prayer Ministry Team.
5th Sunday Gathering. Please join us in the Fellowship Hall on August 31 during the Sunday School hour as attorney Laura Callaway Hart, a partner at Nelson, Mullins, Riley & Scarborough speaks to us about education reform in South Carolina. This presentation is sponsored by the Church and Society Team and the Adult Ministry Team.
School Supplies Drive Underway. The Missions Team is collecting school supplies through the start of school. Boxes have been placed in the narthex. Items needed include pencils, rulers, hand sanitizer, glue sticks and notebooks. For a complete list of items please contact Mamie Turner at 786-2558.
Volunteer for Children’s Moments! Are you interested in helping minister to our children? Children’s Moments are a meaningful way to reach our children at our 8:45 and 11:00 services. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Tami Covert at tfab@sc.rr.com.
Volunteers Needed for Sunday Nights! Mark King needs volunteers to help lead Sunday Night activities for our middle and high school students. Youth group meets Sunday evenings from 5 to 7. If you can help out, email Mark at mking@trinityblythewood.org.
Fall TLC. TLC (a Christian nurture program for 4 years old - 5th grade) will begin with registration on September 14 and the program beginning September 21. Adult helpers are needed. Our emphasis this fall will be on missions. We will celebrate local, state/national and international mission opportunities with the children. Blythefest Golf Tournament. The date and location have been set - October 3 at Crickentree Golf Club. For interest in participating in the tournament or helping with the tournament, contact Brian Lee (920-3740 or bclee@sc.rr.com) or Matt McRee (730-8891 or william.m.mcree@ampf.com).
